Uncle Turbo is a real person, as well a concept. I got the idea for Uncle Turbo from a niece, when I received this Christmas card in 2013. This is the actual envelope:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The message written inside was inspiring to me, but it really took a long time to sink in… “Dear Uncle … I thank God for the beautiful family He’s blessed me with and I’m especially grateful for the gift of your friendship and example… “.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2017, I found that the UncleTurbo.com domain was available – and so I bought it – not knowing exactly what I was going to do with it. Over the years I have gotten more cards with “Uncle Turbo” on them, and the concept of Uncle Turbo has started to take shape.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I will develop Uncle Turbo as a vehicle to be a positive influence on young adults – mainly by helping “uncles” and other older adults understand what a profound influence they can have on family and community by their example and attitude.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’m not ready to unveil anything just yet, but I am developing some logo products to help reinforce the ideas of positive attitude, honesty, and integrity. Presently I am content to sponsor some charitable events and get feedback and other ideas on the logo. And for now I remain anonymous – or at least incognito. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n\n\n\n
